Administrative Assistance-Chesapeake Office(Part-Time 32hours)

Catholic Charities of Eastern Virginia is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Financial Housing Counseling Office in Chesapeake. You will provide department support of credit and housing counseling program, including answering phones, client intake and scheduling, and files management tasks. An ideal candidate will posses a clear and friendly telephone voice, and customer service skills.
A qualified applicant will have 1-3 years of customer service experience, Human Services preferred.Should be proficient in Microsoft Office, and able to handle a multi-line telephone system. You should be able to type/word process:forms, memos, correspondence and reports. Organizational skills are a must,you will be working with electronic and hard copies of files. Completing tasks in a timely manner is expected. Ability to use postage machine, fax, copier, and scanner. You will be in charge of ordering supplies when necessary. General office cleaning and other duties assigned by department director.
