Development and Marketing Associate Full – Time (32-40 Hours per Week)
Catholic Charities of Eastern Virginia is seeking a Development and Marketing Associate to support the Development Department in all areas of social media management and special event planning. Position will assist with tasks related to the agency development and marketing operations and constituent management.
A qualified candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills and strong organizational skills. Ability to work with databases such as ETapestry & OneCause (desired but not required). Other qualifications include multi-tasking various projects while meeting deadlines and adhere to confidentiality regarding sensitive information. Must have excellent people skills, ability to work independently. You must be able to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 20lbs. The associate will assist with setting up and taking down tables for events.
In this role you will support Director in all marketing initiatives such as scheduling social media calendar, contributing to digital content creation, and other marketing related duties. Assist in all event planning and execution, including soliciting sponsors and donations, tracking goals, planning and managing event program vendors, and handling event follow-up. Generate reports and ensure donor acknowledgment. The associate will represent CCEVA professionally in person, through written materials and on social media platforms. They will also be in attend marketing and outreach events to represent and publicize agency and programs.
