Mental Health Resident Independent Contractor
Catholic Charities of Eastern Virginia is currently hiring a Mental Health Resident Independent Contractor. The position will be based out of CCEVA’s Princess Anne office in Virginia Beach. This is a non-employee position. The resident will invoice Catholic Charities for their services on a monthly basis and will receive a 1099 at year-end. The ideal candidate will have completed a Master’s degree program from a CACREP university and be registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling.
The Mental Health Resident will provide psychotherapy services to a diverse clientele, provide case management and respond to crises and legal reporting, as needed. The Resident will be required to be part of the on call rotation; attend weekly meetings with the supervisor; attend monthly staff meetings. The resident is responsible for completing all necessary paperwork including treatment plans, initial mental status, progress notes, closings and case record reviews.
