To our very cores, we are nurturers. Katie is a teacher who is passionate about cultivating a love for learning and creating, and Kevin is a doctor who is driven to provide comfort, healing, and hope for his patients. With great privilege and humility, we take pride in our abilities to touch the lives of others, and it would be the greatest honor and blessing to act as the foundation on which a young life could grow and thrive.
Your child – your precious gift – would be the center of our universe. We would promise to embrace your child’s individuality with warmth and love. We would provide a life in which they would feel empowered to explore their sense of self while feeling connected to their greater communities. We would value originality, reinforce emotions, instill confidence, and celebrate successes. Your child may learn to love painting, crafting, history, and travel like Katie. He or she may enjoy music, cooking, puzzles, and sports like Kevin. Better yet, this special person may have totally different interests of his or her own! It would all be welcomed in our home.
Two loving upbringings have made us generous and kind. Ten amazing years of marriage have made us understanding and patient. One leap of faith with us would make us grateful forever.
